  • Dirt is the biggest enemy of your furnace. It can waste fuel and drastically lower your equipment’s efficiency. Dirt affects all three basic components of your furnace, the filter system, the blower & the motor, so cleaning is the most important part of regular maintenance.
  • Your furnace filter should be replaced or cleaned at the beginning of the heating season and about once a month during periods of prolonged use. We wouldn’t think about not changing the oil in our car. Changing the filter on our HVAC systems should be just as high a priority. Filters capture dirt, dust, mold, etc. and a full filter taxes your unit and your lungs.
  • Your thermostat is a highly sensitive instrument that responds to even the slightest changes in temperature. It can be a source of problems. Friends & Family Plan 17 Point Inspection

  1. Outdoor coil will be inspected for heat transfer loss
  2. Outdoor coils will be washed
  3. Indoor Coil will be inspected and cleaned
  4. Fans will be inspected and cleaned, lubricated
  5. Refrigerant will be checked for proper charge to assure no leaks
  6. Thermostats will be checked and calibrated as required
  7. Controls and safeties will be tested as needed
  8. Drains will be checked
  9. Relays and contactors will be inspected
  10. Unit wiring and electrical disconnect will be inspected
  11. Humidifier operation will be checked, where applicable
  12. Air filters will be replaced (filter not included in Friends and Family Plan price, but will be billed with a 10% discount off of the retail price)
  13. Furnace heat exchanger will be inspected and cleaned, for safety and efficiency
  14. Furnace venting will be inspected
  15. Burners will be inspected and cleaned
  16. Burners will be adjusted for maximum efficiency as needed
  17. Service technician will advise homeowner of any abnormal conditions
